(Tanna intended moral in character analysis) 1. ר' יהושע בן חנניא אשרי יולדתו – a) indicates completeness of personality – no other epithet can do him justice. b) this quality credited to care by mother. ירושלמי יבמות: זכור אני שהיתה אמו מולכת עריסתו לביה"מ שתדבקו אזניו בד"ת. Today – child a toy – shield him from everything including life – start off with baby talk. child remains baby. Then – mother no baby talk, but דברי תורה – education began in crip.
