Letter to R. Goldwicht about Kerem B'Yavneh (1971)

שלום הרב ברכה, הנני מתכבד להודיעו בזה שלאחר חג הפסח הבעל"ט אבוא לארה"ב בשליחות ישיבתנו הקדושה, זוהי נסיעתי הראשונה להתם והנני תולה תקותי בידידי הישיבה ומוקירי שמה שיעשו כל אשר לאל ידם להצלחת הביקור ותוצאותיו. מתוך שיחותי עם כב' בעת פקדו את ארצנו הקדושה, ברי לי שכבודו מכיר ויודע את טיב ישיבתנו וערכיה ואת מהלך מחשבותי בענייני החינוך של נוער זמננו, ואם אוכל להביא בעת ביקורי תועלת כלשהי בענין זה אראה לי זאת לזכות גדולה. רעייתי ואני דורשים בשלום הרבנית וכב"ב, ואסיים בברכת חג כשר ושמח, ידידו מוקירו, הרב חיים יעקב גולדוויכט ראש הישיבה.

שלום רב, את יקרתו קיבלתי, והנני מתכבד שמע"כ מלאו לנכון לבקשתי להצטרף ל"ועד כבדה" למען ישיבת הק'. בלי ספק אשמח איך להעתר להזמנת הרב אלייברך מושרופה אלי, וכמשכוות מע"כ כן אעשה. אנצל הזדמנות זו לאחל לכל הנלוים אליו ולכל הרמי"ם והתלמידים של הישיבה, ולכל אנשי המנהלה, חג כשר ושמח וכל טוב. כמובן, בניני מצטרף לברכות בנ"ל, ומעיד אני מליו שחצי השנה זו שהסתחפף בצלה של הישיבה ספק הרבה הרבה, ותלוי זו עומדת לו עכשיו כמקור עזרה והשראה. בידידות וכבוד, נחום לאם

Letter to Dr. Sacks about His Son's Experience in Kerem B'Yavneh (1976)

Please convey to Jonathan warmest good wishes from Mrs. Lamm and myself, as well as from Shalom and our other children, and the hope and prayer that the promise he has shown thus far will begin to be realized during his studies at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh. Kindly use this occasion as well to offer to Jonathan both my personal and official invitation to him to come to Yeshiva University as a student immediately upon returning from Israel. He is the kind of young man whom I welcome with open arms, and I believe that his own spiritual and intellectual growth will be enhanced by his studies at Yeshiva.
