Exchange with R. Rabinovitch about Scheduling Meeting (1967)

Dear Nachum: I hope you do not think that I have simply forgotten our conversation when we met at the dinner of the UOJCA. I trust that you remember the gist of our conversation. I do hope to be in contact with you towards the end of the summer, p.g., and perhaps we can arrange for you to come in from Toronto at the very beginning of September to meet with me and a few other people to discuss the matter. Perhaps, after that, we may know better what the possibilities are. Meanwhile, please accept my best wishes for a very pleasant summer. Cordially yours, Rabbi Norman Lamm

Exchange with R. Rabinovitch about Expenses from His Visit to Yeshiva University (1967)

Dear Norman: Because of the holidays I overlooked writing to you until now. In connection with my trip to New York at your invitation, I incurred the following expenses. Air fare $56.00, Hotel 16.35, Airport, taxis, etc. 16.00. Total $88.35. I appreciated the opportunity to meet with you and to look around Yeshivah University which I had not really had the occasion to do before. Please convey my best wishes to Rabbi Jung. Sincerely, N. L. Rabinovitch

Letter to R. Rabinovitch about Plans to Visit Israel (1968)

Dear Rabbi Rabinovitch: Your letter certainly is one which deserves an affirmative and enthusiastic response. Of course, I am anxious to cooperate. I do not yet know of any specific plans for a visit to Israel but I hope to be speaking to Rabbi Itamar in the middle of January, p.G. At that time I will let him have more details, if any are available. Congratulations on your admirable efforts. Cordially, Rabbi Norman Lamm
