Letter to Louis Levinson about Attending Cong. Kodimoh Building Dedication (1962)
Dear Mr. Louis: Mrs. Lamm and I were delighted to receive your invitation to attend the dedication of the new Kodimoh building on Sunday, January 13th. Your gracious words are much appreciated by the both of us. I am happy that Kodimoh still thinks of me. For my part, the years I spent in Springfield are amongst the happiest in my life. I still do not know if Mrs. Lamm will be able to attend. However, with the help of God, I hope to be present for the Banquet (as I already informed Rabbi Weisfogel), although I will not be able to be present for the dedication proper.I am looking forward most eagerly both to what I know will be a most impressive and dramatic ceremony, and to a reunion with many cherished and dear friends.Warmest personal regards.Sincerely,RABBI NORMAN LAMM
