Letter to R. Irving Baumol Declining Invitation to Attend Temple Beth Sholom Dedication Ceremony (1967)
Dear Irving: Thank you very much for your invitation to attend the dedication ceremonies of a new building of your Synagogue. I am sure that you can appreciate how busy Sunday afternoons are for rabbis, and that I regretfully have no choice but to decline your invitation to participate in what I am certain will be a very pleasant and interesting day. I know that you have been working for this event with great diligence for many years, and I want to wish you and Florence many years of good luck and health in which to enjoy the fruits of your labors.Warmest regards to all,Cordially yours,Rabbi Norman LammRNL/fz
