Dear Dr. Lamm, I was really delighted to learn from you of your appointment to the Presidency of Yeshiva University. When we first learned of the vacancy, both my wife and I immediately thought of you as the best of all possible candidates for the office. My wife and I would like to host a gathering in your honor, at which time you would have the opportunity to meet a number of our congregants who have been particularly helpful to Yeshiva in the past. Over the years, Rabbi Herbert Dobrinsky has established a wonderful relationship with many of our members, and I know that you will learn much from his experience.
