Letter to Senator Buckley Praising His Independence and Integrity (1971)
Dear Senator: Thank you very much for sending me the copies of your two speeches, one on the Sixth Fleet and the other on national defense. I am pleased at the enthusiastic reception you received for the talks on the Navy at the National Press Club. After reading it, I can very well understand why your audience was so appreciative of your remarks. I do want you to know, Mr. Senator, how deeply I admire the independence and integrity of your stands in the Senate. Thank you again for sending me the material and for writing to me. Cordially yours, Rabbi Norman Lamm
