Letter to Herman Brown about His Contribution for Soviet Jewry and Budget Request (1970)
Dear Herman: Thank you for the check of $200. I do hope that we will be able to satisfy you with the proper kind of budget as soon as possible. It is rather unfortunate, however, that the major part of the money was made contingent upon receipt of this budget. We are going into a new and difficult venture and are not quite sure of our exact expenses. I fear that the bookkeeping will seriously cramp our style and certainly will not be constructive. Nevertheless, I hope to get you the information requested as soon as we can. Many thanks for sending me the resolution on autopsies in Israel proposed by your committee on Jewish affairs.Sincerely yours,RABBI NORMAN LAMMNL/ek
