Mr. Kaufman: We need many more games for our Saturday groups. Is it possible for you to purchase a number of them for different age levels between 5 and 13? (Most are marked with proper age levels). Letter to Mr. Kaufman about Purchasing Shtenders and Kiddush Preparation (1958)

Mr. Kaufman: Is it possible to provide at least one, preferably two wooden "shtenders” for Junior Congregation? They would help considerably. Also, please arrange for elevator men on Saturday to prepare all of Kiddush, including soda, beforehand, not to rake it necessary for girls of J. C. to go downstairs for it during Service. Finally, must know immediately if we can schedule a gym session this Thursday night – December 25th. Please let me know answer soon. Rabbi Norman Lamm.

Letter to Mr. Kaufman about Starting College Women Study Group on Jewish Law (1959)

Mr. Kaufman: 1) A study group of college women in “Jewish Laws” will meet with me every Thursday, please God, in the 9th floor library from 7:30–9:00 P.M. (part of the Twenties’ Club), with the first session on February 5. 2) The Boys’ High School groups will not meet with Mr. Kantor in the gym on Sunday, February 1, hence the gym will be closed that day. 3) Please order a new blotter for my desk, as well as more yellow pads and pencils. 4) Please see that refreshments are prepared for the Dramatics Club every Sunday. 5) The next meeting of the Young Marrieds will be on March 1, at the Aaron Greens’.
