Letter from Bertram Zweibon about R. Lamm's Appointment to YU Presidency (1976)
Dear Rabbi Lamm: While in Israel I learned of your appointment as President of Yeshiva University. I am sure that you have been deluged with congratulatory letters, but please add this to the list. However, while congratulating you on this achievement, I would be remiss if I were not to congratulate you on what I consider a far greater one. Having had the opportunity to speak at some length with two of your children, you are to be congratulated upon the esteem with which you are held by your children. That is truly an accomplishment upon which one is to be congratulated. Best wishes for the upcoming year for you and your family. Very truly yours, Bertram Zweibon
