Letter to S. Yellin about His Jewish Education Leadership in South Africa and "The Little Lamm" Cartoon (1964)
Dear Mr. Yellin: According to the cartoon in the "Jewish Herald," it was you who "had a little Lamm," and now therefore that the Lamm has returned home he wishes to notify you about it and to thank you for your kindness. It was a pleasure to know you and to observe firsthand your dedication and zeal for the cause of Jewish education. I hope and pray that the Almighty will grant you many many years of continued health and vigor in the service of Torah and Torah education. Please convey my fondest regards to Mrs. Yellin, and please do not forget to notify me of the "good news" that you were expecting during the time of my stay in Johannesburg. Sincerely, Rabbi Norman Lamm
