Exchange with Laibl Wolf about Fundraising for Yeshiva College Institutions in Australia (1973)
Dear Rabbi Lamm: I trust that you and your wife are well and recovered somewhat. Needless to say I assume that you are fully involved with the war effort. We hear marvelous news of support from the American Jewish community. Enclosed is a further report and incidental material relating to it. I will be, God willing, in U.S.A. during January and hopefully we will see each other. Although you sounded at the time that you were not certain as to whether we could find support for our College in U.S.A., please try to find at least one or two persons who might look favourably upon our needs. Their outlook need only be that of ‘positive feeling' concerning us, with no immediate thought of tangible aid. I am quite prepared to invest years developing of someone’s favorable disposition’. I would use the opportunity of my stay in U.S.A. to make an initial contact with one or two such people that you might advise me to see. Shalom Uverachah, Sincerely, L. WOLF, DIRECTOR FOR DEVELOPMENT.
