Letter to Tevis Shusman Declining Invitation to Speak at Kodimoh (1962)
Dear Tevis, I am deeply grateful to you for your invitation to address the Kodimoh Brotherhood on April 10th. There is no question but that I would very much have liked to respond in the affirmative. Unfortunately, my schedule during the latter half of this year is so very overcrowded that it is just impossible for me to do so. I am confident that you and my other dear friends will understand my predicament. I spoke to Mr. Isidore Strick earlier this week about the problem and I am sure that he will confirm my decision if you will be kind enough to check with him. Please give my best regards to your wife and to Mr. and Mrs. Allan Bloomberg, as well as to all our other friends.Cordially yours,RABBI NORMAN LAMM
