Dear Nissim, I thought you would like to know that I recently have been invited by the Board of Jewish Education of South Africa to visit that country for a lecture tour during this coming February please G-d. I know that your father-in-law, Rabbi Kossowsky, is one of the distinguished Rabbinic scholars in that country. If, therefore, there is any message you want to give me, or anything else you or your wife would wish me to do for you when I go, I shall be more than pleased to be of assistance. Letter of Gratitude to Ernest Horwitz about His Assistance in South Africa (1964)

Dear Mr. Horwitz: Although I have sent you regards through others, I do want to take the time to write to you personally to tell you how very much I appreciated all your advice and assistance during my stay in Johannesburg. I shall value your friendship for a long time to come. Before leaving for New York, Mr. H. Gordon asked me to give regards to Dr. Harry Miller of Mt. Sinai Hospital. You added your regards to his wife, your niece. I am sorry that I have not been able to locate the Millers. Mt. Sinai has no such Doctor on their staff. I should be glad to give them the regards from you and Mr. Gordon, if you could notify me where to reach them. Please give my fondest regards to Mr. Gordon and to all my dear friends of the Board of Jewish Education and the rest of the Jewish community. My best wishes for a Happy and Kosher Passover.
