Dear Rabbi Dr. Lamm: It is my pleasure to congratulate you on behalf of the National Council of Young Israel and personally upon your election as the President of the great Yeshiva University. Under your guidance Yeshiva University will, please God, rise to even greater heights. Your profound Torah knowledge, coupled with youthful dynamism and sensitive warmth toward people, will reflect the traditions of your predecessors. It is our fervent prayer that the Almighty continue to shower His blessings upon you, thereby granting you strength in body and mind so that you may devotedly labor in the vineyard of the Lord, to disseminate the eternal teachings of our faith to the leaders of tomorrow.
