This letter contains a proposed initial outline of what became Rabbi Lamm’s two-volume work Seventy Faces. Dr. Yaakov Elman – a renowned Yeshiva University Talmud scholar who worked for Ktav, the publisher of many of Rabbi Lamm’s books – was involved in its early development.
